I began in network marketing so that i could stay home and not go back to work after my 2nd maternity leave.  The pain of missing my son when I had to go back to work the 1st time weighed on me. I couldn't get done work fast enough and get home to see him, but when I did I would often find out that he had said a new word or experienced something new that i had again missed, and I wasn't about to feel like a failure as a mom again with my second chance and now 2 small children only  18 months apart in age. 

I hit the ground running. My up line had us make a list of 200 friends and family and adding swarms of new friends daily on Facebook to send messages to about the products and opportunity. Between all that I was posting 2 and 3 times showing all the amazing results ans making sure that everyone saw the new opportunity I was in and what the products could do for their skin problems. I and had customers and teammates enrolling and I even signed a large salon and spa on with my company.

It didn't take it long for it to start to crack and crumble though. 

The first I noticed that this method of friending, messaging and chasing until i was too exhausted to play with my kids, was when the salon that I had signed held a meeting to get the spa and the stylsit girls on-boarded. I was greeted with skepticism and rudely talked too. and even though many of the staff liked the products it didn't take much to see that they would be overthrown. 

The salon backed out. I had lost a huge win and I felt for the first time like I was embarrassed about the way I now had to go back and continue to chase and cold message strangers. I felt embarrassed posting pictures about the same before and after shots, the ingredients and promotions non stop that my friends would keep seeing and make snide comments to me about.

I hated that feeling. BUT i wasn't ready to give up on my dream of controlling my time and being able to afford to stay home and never miss my kids at this young age. 

I started paying attention to the top leaders in various network marketing companies. I researched and I invested in myself and got mentors and training and I started to approach my marketing on Facebook in a totally different way. a more attractive and appealing way.

My posts got more engagement from people i didn't know, rather than just my teammates , and soon I even had strangers messaging me and asking me about the business opportunity and enrolling.

That was when i realized that i was onto something and I dove deeper into courses to learn more and platforms that would help me become an even better marketer and leader myself.
